The Magic of the Accessory Handbag
The appropriate accessory purse can change your life. I know this from personal experience.
My mom used to maintain bins and boxes of previous stuff in her closet. I'm not joking - not even exaggerating. There was a whole part of her stroll-in closet occupied by bins of vogue relics dating back to the period of affection-ins and Volkswagen buses. In reality, this collection was a treasure trove of abandoned designer duds, simply waiting to come again into style. And that's how I found the little Gucci handbag.
I was in school on the time. I couldn't afford an expensive accessory handbag. I carried every part around in a rucksack, even once I went out within the evening. My only concern when it got here to bags was functionality. How little did I know!
My mom's beautiful little Gucci purse was a clutch purse relationship to the late 1970's. It was covered with the characteristic Gucci insignia, the 2 little interlocking G's. And it had a green and crimson stripe of ribbon across the middle. Anybody who knows about purse equipment would recognize it for what it was: pure classic, and really cute. A similar pocketbook promoting at a classic retailer would have cost a number of hundred dollars at least. And I got this lovely little accent purse totally free, from a mother whose closet was so overstuffed, she had forgotten she even owned the thing.
Once I began carrying around the Gucci clutch purse, I discovered something amazing. Even the most peculiar outfit became a fashion assertion after I carried my vintage Gucci bag. I might put on a ten dollar tee shirt and ratty old pair of denims with sneakers, but when I carried my favorite accessory purse, instantly it appeared stylish as an alternative of sloppy. I could convince myself that I didn't look like a lazy, poor school scholar, however slightly a hip and edgy fashion maven. If I might afford an adjunct handbag like that, and if I was savvy enough to go vintage, then I have to know what I'm doing. Anyway, that was the logic in my mind.
Fact be told, I used to be largely proper, and I follow that easy trend precept to this day. I don't trouble filling my wardrobe with dear designer clothes. I don't have to preserve losing money on the latest sartorial traits, knowing they may fall out of style in a matter of weeks or months. Instead, I save up my cash and spend money on a really fabulous accent purse every every now and then - ideally a beautiful, vintage designer bag. I pair it with all the things from elegant eveningwear to sweats. And I at all times appear to be I do know what I'm doing.
